The All India Democratic Women Association (AIDWA) organized a candle march in Laksham Nagar to show solidarity with the wrestlers who are protesting against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, the chief of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
More than a dozen women and social activists participated in the candle march to support the wrestlers who have been alleging sexual harassment by Brijbhushan Sharan Singh for almost two weeks now.
The protesters marched through three localities – Laksham Vihar Phase-2, Laksham Vihar Phase 1, and Apna Enclave.
